i am a technology leader, platform engineer, and hands-on systems builder with more than two decades of progressive experience across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, automation, kubernetes, sre, and engineering management.

my career is a consistent progression: systems administration → virtualization → automation → cloud architecture → platform engineering → kubernetes and sre → engineering management.

outside work, i apply the same systems mindset to audiovisual and digital-media leadership at christ our king community church, and to an extensive personal homelab and ai engineering environment.

early in my career, the unit of responsibility was an individual server or application.
